The Role

This position offers 12 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota, with shifts from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Flexibility across all days of the week is required to meet the needs of both clients and the wider team.
About the Client & Your Responsibilities:
This role involves supporting two individuals—a man and a woman—who share a bungalow in South Yorkshire. Responsibilities include general household tasks, adherence to daily and monthly cleaning routines, meal preparation, and providing assistance as required.
Both clients lead active lives and are seeking a creative support worker to help facilitate a variety of social and recreational activities.
The male individual, in his late 70s, has diabetes and learning disabilities. He values his independence; however, he requires support with personal care tasks such as showering, shaving, and medication management. He enjoys dancing and food shopping as part of his active lifestyle.
The female individual, in her 50s, has learning disabilities and requires support with her mental health. While largely self-sufficient, she benefits from prompts and occasional assistance, including help styling her hair. She volunteers weekly at a local charity shop and enjoys clothes shopping.
Training & Support:
We provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering:
· Full induction
· Safeguarding Adults
· First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & Safety
· Personal Care / Moving & Handling / Falls Awareness
· Diabetes / Medication Administering
· Learning Disabilities / Mental Health
All training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at minimum wage.

- Driver with a full UK licence is preferred
- Previous care experience working within a home environment is desirable
- A team player who is flexible to cover shifts to meet the needs of the clients and support the rest of the care team
