Our client a beautiful nursing home is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their welcoming team at a luxury, purpose-built care home for older adults. Designed around residents’ dignity, comfort, and wellbeing, this modern care home offers an exceptional environment for both residents and staff.



This is a full-time role with the option of day or night shifts, ideal for someone ready to step up or continue in a senior capacity and lead by example within a values-driven team.



As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional care while providing guidance and support to the wider care team. You’ll lead by example, ensuring each resident receives person-centred care tailored to their needs and preferences — day or night.


You’ll also work closely with management to uphold care quality, contribute to care planning, and maintain a warm and respectful home environment.



What They're Looking For



  • A Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or working towards it) – essential

  • Senior experience in a care setting, ideally with older adults

  • Strong leadership skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach

  • Passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care

  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota

  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide high-quality, personalised care to residents with varying needs

  • Act as a role model and mentor to care staff, promoting best practices

  • Support with medication administration (if trained and required)

  • Contribute to the creation and review of care plans

  • Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of all residents at all times

  • Support new team members through induction and shadowing
