Registered Manager – Supported Living (Fixed-Term, 6 Months)

Slough (SL3 8SX) | £45,000 – £47,000 p.a. | Start by 7th July 2025

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Registered Manager to join a well-regarded, very small supported living service in the Slough area on a fixed-term basis (6 months). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader in the health and social care sector to join a specialist service rated “Good” by the CQC, with potential for a permanent position.

About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of seven Specialist Behaviour Support Workers. The service specialises in providing care for complex learning disabilities, physical health needs, and behaviours that challenge whilst implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) elements.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (occasional weekend work and inclusion in the on-call manager’s rota if the role becomes permanent)

Location: Slough

Start Date: No later than 7th July 2025

Key Requirements:

Previous experience managing supported living or similar settings (essential)

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance

NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (desirable)

Experience working with individuals with complex LD and behaviours that challenge (PBS)

Reporting to: Head of Service

Salary: £45,000 – £47,000 per annum (pro rata)
