This role is to support a Man

Drivers licence required: No

Employment status: employed

Hours per week: Wednesday 11am-6pm Thursday 2pm - 6pm Ability to cover other other pas holidays, including overnight shifts

Hourly pay rate: £12.21

I am a sociable and chatty gentleman, looking for a support worker to cover my live in carer’s breaks. The role will involve domestic tasks, personal care and assisting me to get out and about and walk my dog.

Duties include:

Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Administration
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Companionship
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Watching TV and listening to music whilst on duty at the employer’s home
Assisting me to walk my assistance dog


Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
