Support Worker (Part-Time, 15 Hours per Week plus Sleep-ins)
Location: Market Harborough, LE16
Salary: £12.21 per hour, plus additional sleep-in allowance
Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Job Description
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our supported living team in Market Harborough. This is a permanent, part-time position working 15 hours per week, with additional sleep-in shifts available.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities in a supported living environment. You will provide person-centred care that promotes independence, choice and dignity, while helping individuals to lead fulfilling lives within their community.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care and support in line with individual care plans
• Support people with daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping and household duties
• Assist with community-based activities, appointments and social outings
• Administer medication safely and accurately (training provided)
• Maintain clear and accurate records and contribute to care planning
• Promote a positive, safe and inclusive environment for all service users
Candidate Requirements
• A Full UK driving licence is essential for this role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A reliable, professional and caring approach to support work
• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable, though not essential as full training will be provided
