Phoenix Care Staff are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have at least 6 months’ experience in the care sector and are ready to take the next step in their healthcare career.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will be a key member of the care team, supporting both service users and junior staff while ensuring high-quality care delivery in a variety of care settings.

What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 6 months experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to lead and support care teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, proactive, and professional attitude.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and mentoring junior care staff on shift.
• Supporting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Administering medication (where appropriate and trained).
• Monitoring and documenting patients’ vital signs and conditions.
• Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Ensuring all care plans and procedures are followed to the highest standard.
