Night Care Assistant Needed - Make a Real Difference!

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, a leading UK care provider, is looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Bedfordshire (LU1). We provide tailored care for individuals with complex needs, helping them live independently and with companionship.


Role: Care Assistant


Salary: £14 per hour


Job Type: Full Time


Starting: This August!


( We have daytime roles available as well; apply and we can discuss this)


Your Night Shifts:


You'll be working night shifts, so you can make a big difference while others sleep!




  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM




  • One weekend night: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM (Note: weekend shifts planned for Sunday but might change to Saturday from time to time )





About the Role:


You'll be working with a female service user who has complex needs, including Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, Epilepsy, and requires Suctioning and PEG feeding. Your support will be crucial for her daily life and well-being.


We're looking for someone outgoing, encouraging, patient, and empathetic. Our service user loves going to the cinema and theatre, and enjoys having books read to her. You'll need to be happy to encourage her to get out and explore!


Service user also has two dogs, so being comfortable around animals is a must.

What You Need:




  • Essential: Previous Tracheostomy experience.




  • At least 6 months of professional UK care experience.




  • Must be a Driver with a Full UK Driving Licence and no more than 6 points.




  • Ability to provide all necessary compliance documents (Right to Work, original DBS).




Important: We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.


Please note: This position is open only to female applicants due to the personal care required for a vulnerable adult, as allowed under the Equality Act 2010.
