Support Worker – Supported Living
Location: Melton Mowbray
Hourly Rate: £12.30 – £12.60
Contract: Temporary | Part-Time or Full-Time | Long Days | Early Shifts | Late Shifts | Sleep-ins
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in Melton Mowbray? We are seeking skilled and reliable individuals to join our team in a supported living service, working with adults with autism and learning disabilities. Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live independently, safely, and with dignity. You’ll be working in a person-centred environment where your contribution truly matters. Responsibilities include:
• Providing daily support with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Promoting independence, confidence, and well-being
• Supporting individuals in accessing the community and engaging in activities
• Following individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
• Assisting with medication administration and accurate record-keeping
• Building trusting relationships through consistency, empathy, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to varying needs and routines
• Strong communication and observational skills
• A proactive, empathetic, and person-centred approach to care
• Willingness to work varied shifts including sleep-ins and lone working
• An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service is ideal)
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (please note we do not offer sponsorship)
