Passionate about supporting recovery? Join our Ellesmere Port team to empower individuals through one-to-one support and groupwork in a dynamic, person-centred drug and alcohol service.

The Role
You will have experience of working within substance misuse or a related Health and Social Care setting is essential. You must be committed, resourceful and highly motivated to engage with people using our service within treatment services and promote recovery through their daily practice.

Based within the Ellesmere Port integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, your role will support adults who use our service within the area to achieve their recovery journey goals via 1:1s and structured groupwork programme.

An empathetic and non-judgmental approach is imperative, as this role involves working with a wide range of challenging issues and behaviours.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Deliver high-quality drug and alcohol services to individuals and their support networks.
• Manage a caseload, conducting assessments, risk evaluations, and delivering evidence-based interventions and recovery plans.
• Facilitate structured treatment groups and provide harm reduction services, including needle exchange, BBV testing, and overdose prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, adhering to Via policies and safeguarding standards.

You must have experience in substance misuse services and structured treatment delivery.

Cheshire West and Chester is a fully integrated recovery service delivered by Via We offer free and confidential support for individuals affected by drug and alcohol problems and their families and carers.
