We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker to work in a residential care setting.

We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.

Rate of Pay: £12.26 - £15.82 per hour

Summary:

As a Care Worker, you will provide high-quality personal care, support, and day opportunities to individuals in community settings, specialist hubs, or in their own environments. Your role is to empower individuals, promote independence, and contribute meaningfully to their well-being in line with their care plans.

Responsibilities:

Deliver a range of personal, physical, and emotional support to individuals in accordance with their care plans, maintaining dignity and respect.
Support individuals within a safe risk management framework and report concerns or incidents as required.
Deliver a variety of day-to-day activities that encourage engagement, independence, and improved quality of life.
Administer medication in accordance with the medication policy and maintain accurate records.
Transport and escort individuals as required, ensuring safety and comfort.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection legislation and council policies.
Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or willingness to work toward this.
Care Certificate
Essentials:

Basic knowledge of adult social care values and person-centered support.
Basic ICT skills for recording and communication purposes.
Awareness of diversity, safeguarding, and promoting independence.
Experience working directly with adults, either individually or in groups.
Working with people with complex needs and/or behaviors of concern is desirable.
