Personal Assistant / Support Worker – Part-Time Opportunity (St George, BS5)
Flexible Hours | £12.60/hour | 6 Hours per Week | Make a Real Difference! Are you friendly, reliable, and looking to support a vibrant young woman in gaining independence and confidence? This could be the perfect role for you!
About MeHi! I’m an 18-year-old young woman living in St George with my lovely family and our very cuddly dog. I’m currently attending college and volunteering at a local museum — which I absolutely love! I’m into music (especially gigs), cosplay, second-hand treasure hunting in charity shops, and spending time with friends. I’m chatty, fun to be around, and have a great sense of humour.I don’t need help with things like personal care, feeding, or mobility — I’m totally independent in that way. What I’m really looking for is someone who can help me build life skills, boost my independence, and have a laugh along the way.
What I’m Looking ForI’d love to find a Personal Assistant (PA) who is supportive, encouraging, and full of positive energy. Someone who’s up for a mix of practical help and enjoyable outings, and who can work flexibly around my college schedule.Key Responsibilities

  • Life Skills Support: Helping me build confidence with cooking, shopping, cleaning, and managing day-to-day household tasks.
  • Growing Independence: Support with planning routines, managing appointments, and budgeting.
  • Social Time: Coming along to gigs, exploring the city, or just going out for coffee or a fun activity.
  • Encouragement & Understanding: Helping me build self-belief and independence at a pace that works for me.

What You’ll Need
  • A great sense of humour, patience, and a positive attitude
  • Good communicator and happy to get stuck in
  • Experience working in care or support roles (preferred)
  • Understanding of (or willingness to learn about) autism, demand avoidance, FND, and EUDP
  • Full driving license and access to your own car (preferred but not essential)
  • Enhanced DBS check and references (required)

Availability
  • 6 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling – we’ll work out times that suit both of us

If this sounds like your kind of role and you'd like to make a meaningful impact while having fun and building a great working relationship, I’d love to hear from you!
