Healthcare Assistant – Night Shifts


Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour

Are you a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant looking for a night shift role where your care makes a real impact?



Our client is looking for dedicated Night Healthcare Assistants to join their team in a beautifully appointed residential care home for older adults. Set within tranquil gardens and elegant surroundings, this service is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.



What We’re Looking For



  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working in a care home or healthcare environment (essential)

  • A kind, respectful, and calm approach to overnight care

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide compassionate personal care throughout the night, ensuring residents are comfortable and well-supported

  • Support residents with bedtime routines, toileting, repositioning, and night-time needs

  • Respond calmly and efficiently to any overnight concerns or emergencies

  • Monitor and record changes in residents’ health or behaviour

  • Maintain accurate care documentation and handover notes for day staff

  • Contribute to a safe, peaceful, and respectful night-time environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of care
