Support Worker – Waking Nights – £12.60 p/h + Benefits – Lincolnshire, LN6 8UZ

The Role

Do you have a caring nature and enjoy helping others live independently? Can you stay calm and attentive through the night, providing comfort and support when it’s needed most?

We’re Making Space – a not-for-profit organisation guided by strong values and a commitment to improving lives. We’re looking for a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Swallow Lodge in Lincoln, LN6 8UZ.

You’ll work night shifts, supporting adults with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health needs, and other conditions. It’s a role where your presence will bring peace of mind and comfort to residents through the quiet hours.

No experience or qualifications? No problem. We’ll support you with full training and offer the chance to gain recognised qualifications. What matters most is that your values match ours – empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver person-centred care throughout the night
• Support with personal care, medication, and bedtime routines
• Carry out regular security and wellbeing checks
• Maintain cleanliness and a calm environment
• Ensure all care is respectful, dignified, and responsive to each person’s needs
