Night Care Assistant

Care and Support - Oakbank Care Home

Contract: Full Time and Part- Time Salary: £12.70 Per Hour Shift Type: Nights Contracted hours: Full Time or Part Time

Oakbank Care Home is a stunning, brand-new service in the heart of Crieff, offering luxurious accommodation for up to 70 residents. Our home provides personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Palliative and Respite Care, all delivered by a dedicated team of professionals who are truly passionate about care and the wellbeing of others.

We are looking for kind, reliable and compassionate individuals to join our care team on the night shift. Whether you are an experienced Care Assistant or someone exploring a new career in care, we would love to hear from you. Full training and support will be provided – all you need is a caring nature and a genuine desire to make a difference.

What We Offer

  • £12.70 per hour
  • Full time and part-time Contracts
  • night shifts: 7:30pm to 7:30am
  • Paid PVG, Free uniform, Pension scheme
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time hours)

What You Will Do
You will provide warm, person-centred care that supports each resident to live well every night. From helping with personal care and nightly routines to supporting residents during meals or engaging them in conversation, you will bring comfort, companionship and dignity to those you care for. You will also support our team in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment, and always be alert to any changes in a resident’s health or wellbeing.

About You
Whether you are just starting out or have years of experience, we are looking for individuals who are:

  • Caring and compassionate
  • Respectful and patient
  • Willing to learn and work as part of a supportive team
  • Passionate about providing excellent care

A qualification such as SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential – we will support the right person to train and succeed.
