We are looking for a proactive, empathetic, organised and professional PA, with a genuine interest in supporting a young woman to regain her strength and aid her recovery.

A lovely 21-year-old woman who is affected by long covid and various complex health needs is looking for (two Personal Assistants to share 24 hours of support per week). Hours and days are flexible and can be arranged to suit both the employer and the PAs.

- A health professional or with experience as a nurse, HCA, or care support worker
- Calm, patient, confident, and reliable
- Organised, proactive, and able to take care of admin tasks
- Fit and well, as the role can be physically demanding
- A good cook with excellent food hygiene knowledge (essential: trained or experienced in coeliac disease and cross-contamination prevention)
- Skilled in housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Able to support with personal care, bathing, and also including hair and nails
- Encouraging and supportive with leisure activities like card making, writing, and seeing friends
- Gentle in manner, with a calm and softer voice
- Intuitive, with common sense and the ability to respond appropriately in different situations
- Experienced or trained in autism and ARFID Eating Disorder, with the ability to remain reassuring and calm during challenging times
- Flexible and able to cover occasional night shifts by arrangement.

- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Moving and handling
- Clinical tasks
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Cooking
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Looking after pets
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements
Non-smoker due to medical reasons
