We are looking for a 1:1 Support Worker to join our team and provide a person centred, needs led service to adults with a learning and/or physical disability at Rose Lodge.

We use a person-centred approach focusing on supporting people to make their own choices, follow their own interests and gain independence. We empower people to choose how they want to live their life.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE OF SUPPORT WORKER

o To effectively work with your colleagues to promote the health, independence, choice respect, dignity, rights, safety and welfare of the residents at all times. To act in a professional manner as a representative
o To work as part of a team with all your colleagues.
o To provide personal care to all clients, promoting independence and respecting their dignity at all times.
o To complete all daily, weekly and monthly records and documentation as required.
o To comply with the residents care plans, risk assessments and guidelines at all times.

Rose Lodge is a residential home set in the heart of a vibrant community which provides residential support and accommodation for up to 6 adults with learning disabilities.

ABOUT YOU

o Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential full training will be provided.
o A positive, proactive, and patient attitude.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
o Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
o A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of vulnerable individual
