Job Purpose:I am a lady with diagnosis of progressive Multiple Sclerosis, I have information processing difficulties, mobility issues and use a walker to get around my home. I am looking for two job share PAs to support me with daily tasks. Assisting with getting up, washing, and dressing. Support with preparing breakfast in the morning, lunch preparation. Also, I need support with maintaining a habitable home environment, folding away laundry as well as support with filling and emptying the dishwasher and hoovering as this can be difficult due to my decreased mobility. Occasionally support with shopping, attending appointments, and participating in the community.Location: NR7, SprowstonDetails:Support with morning routines.Food preparation.Domestic duties (cleaning and laundry.)Support with attending appointments.Person specificationEssential:Empathetic and caring.Good sense of humour.Experience in care.Female due to personal carer element (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies.)Must like cats.Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £13 per hour for employed PA and £14.94 per hour for self-employed PA.· Hours and times of work: 7 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, half an hour in the mornings 08:30-09:00 and half an hour in the afternoon 12:30-13:00.
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling of Objects and Personal Care. Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
