Join Our Team as a Support Worker – Make a Real Difference in Omagh!
Location: Omagh
Contract Types: Fulltime and Part-time (various hours and shifts available)

Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? Mencap is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our amazing team in Omagh, where your role will have a lasting impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.
What You’ll Do:

- Support people with learning disabilities in their daily lives and routines
- Assist with personal care and medication, including showering/toileting and dressing
- Help with finances and everyday tasks like shopping and bill payments
- Encourage independence and social inclusion by supporting community activities and groups
- Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance quality of life
- Build trusting, meaningful relationships based on empathy and respect

What We’re Looking For:

- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude
- Willingness to register with NISCC and undergo an enhanced Access NI check

Contract & Shift Details:
Fulltime

- 1 x Waking Night post available

(Rota prepared 4+ weeks in advance to support your work/life balance)
