Male Support Worker

£13.54 per hour

Part Time ( 16 Hours per Week with potential to increase)

Darlington (5-10min Drive from Darlington Memorial Hospital)

Full UK Driving Licence Essential

About the people we support:

We have an active gent who love horse riding, airplanes, Lego and long walks out and about.

We are supporting him to live independently in his own homes. The gentlemen we support has a learning disability, autistim and has epilepsy.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is preferred.

A confident support worker who's active and has a good initiative would be a wonderful match.

What will I be doing?

You will be supporting people to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their personal goals.
Support will include full personal care, medication administration, budgeting, meal prep, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

What shifts are available?

10am - 10am for following day (includes £50 sleep over shift)
8:30am - 8:30am for following day (includes £50sleep over shift)
We're looking for people with the flexibility across weekdays & weekends
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work / life balance - something we're really passionate about!
