Home Care Worker

Didcot, Wallingford and Abingdon area

Pay from £14.25 to £15.00 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our clients team as Home Care Workers in the Didcot, Wallingford and Abingdon area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals within their own homes, enabling them to live independently and with dignity. This ongoing role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while developing valuable skills and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Supporting individuals with medication management and adhering to care plans.
Offering companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful connections with clients.
Assisting with light household tasks and errands, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Documenting care provided and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate channels.
Requirements:

Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability.
Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of professionalism and integrity.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle (drivers essential).
Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
