About the Support Worker role:

Rate of Pay: £13 PH day rate £13.50 night rate
Location: Leeds
Care Setting: Supported Living
Hours: Full Time 36 hours per week.
Shifts: Day shifts, waking night shifts
Travel: Drivers preferred but not essential.
Must have experience in supporting individuals Learning Disabilities and comfortable with personal care.

The responsibilities of a Support Worker:


  • Follow the Service Users Care and Support Plan & Positive Behaviour Support Plan


  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping and personal care


  • Promoting independence and helping Service Users develop life skills


  • Providing emotional support and building positive relationships


  • Assisting with medication management (where required and trained)


  • Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments, or participate in social activities


  • Encouraging and enabling Service Users to achieve personal goals


  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the care team


  • Ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment at all times



Key Requirements


  • Candidates must have flexibility with shifts and be able to work every other weekend.


  • Minimum 6 months of professional care experience


  • Right to work in the UK


  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one


  • Up-to-date CV with full work history
