They are now looking for a like minded person to join the team on a full time basis (37 hours per week). While not essential being able and willing to drive a work vehicle is a real plus and make the role more flexible and rewarding given the activities are mainly based in and around Dundee.

What your day-to-day will look like

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in helping people live their lives to the fullest. Every day, you’ll:

>Champion independence, individuality, and personal goals—always putting the voices of the people we support at the heart of everything you do.
>Support with everyday tasks like personal care, housework, medication, and meal prep.
>Join in with fun and meaningful activities at home and in the community—think cinema trips, music groups, art, walking, swimming, volunteering, and more.
>Work closely with your team and other professionals to make sure we’re delivering the very best care.
>Keep accurate, up-to-date records to help us stay on track and provide consistent support.

Shift pattern

Shift pattern includes a variety of early, late, mid, sleepover, and night shifts, offering a flexible working structure. Team members work either alone or in a 2:1 arrangement, but always support just one individual to ensure person centred care. Shifts are assigned through a rota system, to maintain consistency and fairness across the team.

What we’re looking for

We welcome people from all walks of life. You don’t need experience—what matters most is your values, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. We’ll provide all the training you need.

Some qualities that help you thrive in this role:

>A person-centred approach
>Great communication and teamwork
>Openness to learning and adapting
>Interest or experience in supporting people with complex needs

Why you’ll love working with us

>No two days are the same—every person we support is unique, and so is every day.
>You’ll be part of a caring, inclusive team that values kindness, respect, and collaboration.
>We invest in you—with training, development, and opportunities to grow your career.
>Your work will have real impact—helping people live more independently, confidently, and joyfully.
>You’ll be in a supportive environment where your ideas and contributions are truly valued.

At Sense Scotland, we believe life should be about more than just support needs—it’s about joy, fulfilment, relationships, wellbeing, and meaningful experiences. We love when team members bring their own passions and interests to share with the people we support.
