We are looking for a Night Senior Care Assistant to lead, support, and inspire our care team while ensuring residents receive the highest level of care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced carer to take the next step in a rewarding leadership role.

Your Role as a Senior Care Assistant
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead by example, ensuring the home runs smoothly and residents receive person-centred, high-quality care. You will coordinate shifts, support your team, and uphold the home’s caring, positive atmosphere.

You will assist residents with personal care, including dressing, bathing, and mobility, while maintaining their dignity and independence. You will administer and manage medications, ensuring accurate records are kept. You will communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to create a warm and welcoming home. You will coach, mentor, and support your team, ensuring staff feel valued and work together effectively. You will update care plans and documentation, ensuring they reflect residents’ individual needs and preferences.

Who We’re Looking For

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential
  • Medication administration experience is required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team
  • A compassionate, kind, and approachable personality
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
  • Candidates will need to register with Social Care Wales
