Job Summary
The Support Worker plays a vital role in providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including private homes and worksop albion centre. This position involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting their independence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care. Community (private homes) is when we help promote an individuals independence. In the Albion Centre we look after indivudals with learning disabilities and autisum, who may need peg feeding (training for this will be provided)
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide support with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Assist with mobility and transfers, with the hoist (training available)
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Document client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.
Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required. ( Only some clients)
Qualifications
Full Training and shadowing will be given.
