We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Finance Manager to join our growing team and play a crucial role in supporting our clients' financial success.
The Role
As our Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the complete financial management of a portfolios of our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, Ofsted regulations, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and insightful monthly summary reports for clients' board of directors.
• Managing all aspects of bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable and year end accounts.
• Implementing and overseeing effective credit control procedures.
• Developing and reporting on weekly KPIs to track weekly financial and operational performance of clients.
• Preparing ad-hoc and corporate reports as required.
• Handling administrative duties to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Managing weekly budget allocations and reporting to site managers.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on financial matters.
About You
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience of bookkeeping software and MS Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with childcare sector clients (desirable).
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Understanding of Ofsted regulations.
