Pay: £13.54 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Hours: Part-Time - 18.50 hours per week

We're looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Bilston. You'll be supporting six gentlemen with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and epilepsy - helping them live full, independent lives in a safe and structured environment.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

Each gentleman lives in his own flat and enjoys an active lifestyle. You'll provide 1:1 support tailored to their individual needs and interests:

- Active and independent - walking, gardening, and weekly swimming

- Passionate about life - cinema, shopping, cooking, and cleaning with support

- Travel enthusiasts - 2-3 holidays a year, especially log cabins with hot tubs

- Social and fun-loving - enjoy meeting people, social activities, and '80s dance music

- Routine-driven - clear routines help manage anxieties and promote stability

- Family-oriented - regular visits to mum every fortnight

You'll also provide emotional reassurance during moments of distress. Full Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training is provided.

What Will You Be Doing?

Your role will be varied, meaningful, and rewarding:

- Supporting daily living - personal care, cooking, cleaning, and skill-building

- Community engagement - 2:1 support on outings such as swimming, cinema, and holidays

- Behavioural support - follow PBS plans and use SCIP-r training to manage behaviours

- Proactive problem-solving - identify and respond to triggers calmly and consistently

- Encouragement and motivation - build trust and confidence, promoting independence

Shift Patterns

Week 1 - 17.5 Hours

- Tuesdays: 9:00am - 17:00pm

- Thursdays: 8:30am - 18:00pm

Week 2 - 20 Hours

- Fridays - 7:00am - 18:30pm

- Saturdays - 8:30am - 17:00pm

Additional overtime is available supporting other gentlemen in the house.
