Job Title: Senior Support Worker – Supported Living
Location: Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester
Salary: £27,000– £30,090 per annum (incl sleep allowance)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Support worker to join a fantastic, supported living service for adults with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities backgrounds. You will enrich people’s lives with new experiences like fun days out, football, music and more. You will be working for an incredible organisation who have been established for over 30 years and who empower and enable people across communities to live fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities as the Senior Support Worker:
As the Senior Support Worker you will assist the team leader in the supervision and development of your team, you will manage rota’s and develop and deliver specialist support packages, ultimately ensuring the effectiveness and smooth running of the service and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.

-Follow person-centred care plans, ensuring ongoing review and updates in collaboration with management.
-Administer and accurately record medication in line with procedures.
-Ensure service users access the community, attend medical appointments, and develop independence.
-Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and personal care.
-Accurately complete daily records, incident reports, and other key documentation.
-Support individuals in managing their personal finances and maintaining relationships with family and professionals.
-Follow company safeguarding policies, escalating concerns appropriately.

Senior Support Worker key requirements:
Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and/or Mental health backgrounds.
At least 1 years working as a senior support worker.
Level 2 in Health and Social care or equivalent
Flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential.
Full UK Driving Licence (desirable not essential)
