Supported Living Deputy Manager
Location: Cannock/Staffordshire
Salary: £25000 to £28000
Job Type: Full-time


I am seeking a dedicated and driven Deputy Manager to join a progressive care organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career - I am looking for a Deputy Manager who is committed to becoming a Registered Manager of the future.


Minimum Requirements:



  • At least 1 year's experience as a Deputy, Team Leader, or Senior Support Worker in a care setting

  • Minimum 2 year's experience working with vulnerable adults.

  • Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care

  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the Registered Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple services.

  • Lead and supervise staff teams, including rota planning, mentoring, and supervisions.

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.

  • Promote dignity, independence, and enablement in all aspects of care.

  • Assist with assessments, care planning, and transitions for new service users.

  • Maintain compliance through audits, documentation, and governance standards.

  • Consult with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support.

  • Provide firsthand care when required and contribute to rota cover.
