We are looking for experienced, motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Reach Day Services. The service is open Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm and is delivered from 2 sites, Elliott Centre; off Badsley Moor Lane and Maple Avenue at Maltby.
We need candidates who are experienced in working with people who have complex needs and autism.
The role of the support worker is as follows:
To be key worker to customers with complex and Autistic tendency’s this will include person centred assessments in conjunction with the customer, carers and other professionals as appropriate and undertake regular reviews in line with service objectives.
To plan & implement meaningful activities both group and individually based relevant to customers’ needs including risk assessments for individual activities as required.
To help promote more community-based activities.
You will need to have the ability to work on your own, using your initiative as well as part of a team.
You will be required to provide assistance in areas of personal care, daily living skills, social integration and emotional support in line with principals of ordinary life and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
