Job Title: Support worker/Personal Assistant
Hours per week: 15 hours per week to be worked over a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours can be discussed further at interview.
Location: Dinmel Maerdy, Corwen, Conwy
Rate of pay: £14 per hour
About me:
I am looking for a support worker for my elderly Mother within her home. She requires support day to day tasks around the home such as meal preparation, getting her dressed, and making sure she is safe within the home and has everything she needs.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To support around the home with some household tasks, and preparing meals and drinks as required.
To keep the lady company within the home and help to keep her safe.
To support with getting around the house as required.
There is a call alarm in the house, to use this if necessary. Training will be given around this.
To support with getting dressed and some personal care.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.

Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

The household does have dogs, so the person must be happy to be in a household with dogs.

Can follow instructions and will establish a professional standard of care, to be always maintained.
Will not use their personal mobile phone at work unless in an emergency.
Is trustworthy, kind, punctual and reliable.
Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and an ability to provide non-judgmental emotional support.
Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.

The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
