Simplified Staffing Southampton seeks a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.
**Duties:**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Follow individual care plans and report any changes in clients' conditions to the office.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during care.
- Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a domiciliary or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to individuals in need.
