Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker – Supported Living Service
Location: Middlewich, Cheshire
Hourly Rate: £12.30 – £12.60 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our supported living service in Crewe. This service provides high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals living with complex mental health needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with specialist skills who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives, supporting them to live as independently as possible whilst ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users with complex mental health needs.
• Support individuals with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and accessing the community.
• Administer medication safely and accurately in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• Use appropriate moving and handling techniques to assist service users, always ensuring dignity and safety.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents involving ligatures, ensuring the safety of all individuals within the service.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records, including care plans, risk assessments, and daily reports.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to promote the wellbeing and recovery of service users.
• Contribute to the development of individual care plans and support strategies, adapting approaches in response to changing needs.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and positive environment that promotes independence, choice, and quality of life.
