Radiology Assistant | HCA | Norwich | Permanent, Full-time | Spire Norwich has an exciting opportunity to join the imaging team as a Radiology Assistant. Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team. Duties and responsibilities - Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care - Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients - Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person - Admin support - Booking patients on to our system - Support with the ultrasound lists for our consultants - Support MRI Radiographers where required ensuring safety at all times Who we're looking for - Previous experience of working as a HCA/Support Worker - Has worked in a hospital setting desirable but not essential - Experience or knowledge of imaging desirable but not essential - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential - NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential - A good knowledge of software i.e Outlook, Excel, Word along with training on our booking system - Compassionate - An individual dedicated to providing exceptional service and demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care Hours: Flexible working across 6 days Monday - Saturday 7.5 hour shifts with some late evening shifts due to later patient appointments within the week.
