Do you love horses and want to make a real difference?

Forever Savvy is a social enterprise helping adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities build confidence, independence, and real-world skills through hands-on work experiences.

We’re looking for a Support Worker / Job Coach to join our team, primarily supporting our Horse Savvy project, with occasional work across Creative Savvy and our community Café.

About the Role

At Horse Savvy, adults with learning disabilities care for horses, guinea pigs, and chickens. You’ll support them with:

•Feeding, grooming, and exercising the horses
•Maintaining stables, paddocks, and outdoor areas
•Caring for smaller animals and ensuring a safe environment

you may support clients in:

•Creative Savvy: Gardening and creating handmade wooden items from recycled pallets
•Café Project: Preparing and serving food and drinks, greeting customers, and developing teamwork skills

Your guidance will help individuals grow in confidence, independence, life skills, and workplace experience.

What You’ll Do

•Support and motivate adults with learning disabilities across animal care, gardening, woodworking, and café activities
•Help individuals build practical skills and independence.
•Be a positive role model in a safe, encouraging environment
•Work outdoors year-round and indoor when needed
•Promote teamwork and personal development

What We’re Looking For

•A genuine passion for making a difference
•Experience or interest in horses, animal care, gardening, woodworking, or hospitality
•Friendly, patient, and motivating with a can-do attitude
•Comfortable working outdoors and in café/customer-facing environments
•Own transport with valid business insurance is essential, as the role requires transporting clients to and from centres
•No prior social care experience required — full training and support provided

Why Join Forever Savvy?

•Work with a passionate, small team across multiple projects
•Make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities
•Enjoy a variety of hands-on work with animals, creative projects, and community engagement
