Support Worker / Job Coach – Empower Adults with Learning Disabilities

Location: Bagworth community Centre
Hours: 15 per week (Monday, Thursday & Friday)
Pay: £12.21 per hour | Mileage reimbursed

Do you love working in a café environment and want to make a real difference?

Forever Savvy, is a social enterprise helping adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities build confidence, independence, and real-life skills through hands-on work experiences.

We’re looking for a Support Worker / Job Coach to join our team, primarily supporting our Community Café project, with occasional work across Creative Savvy and Horse Savvy.

About the Role

At our Café Project, adults with learning disabilities develop hospitality and teamwork skills. You’ll support them with:

•Preparing and serving food and drinks
•Greeting and interacting with customers
•Supporting cash-handling, cleaning, and general café duties
•Building confidence, communication, and workplace experience

You’ll also occasionally support at:

•Creative Savvy: Gardening and crafting handmade wooden items from recycled pallets
•Horse Savvy: Caring for horses, guinea pigs, and chickens in an outdoor setting
Your guidance will help individuals grow in confidence, independence, life skills, and workplace experience

What You’ll Do

•Support and motivate adults with learning disabilities across café activities, gardening, woodworking and animal care.
•Help individuals Build practical skills and independence
•Be a positive role model in a safe, encouraging environment
•Work indoors in the cafe and outdoors when supporting other projects
•Promote teamwork and personal development

What We’re Looking For

•A genuine passion for making a difference
•Experience or interest in hospitality, customer service, gardening, woodworking, or animal care
•Friendly, patient, and motivating with a can-do attitude
•Comfortable working in café/customer-facing environments, and outdoors when needed
•Own transport with valid business insurance is essential, as the role requires transporting clients to and from centres.
•No prior social care experience required- full training and support provided
