Evening & Weekend Community Care Worker – Beehive Care Devon

Pay: Competitive hourly rate
Contract: Part-Time, Guaranteed Shift Work
Mileage: 45p per mile travel allowance
Schedule: Evenings (4pm–10pm) & alternate weekends (minimum 3+ shifts per week)
Location: Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Sidmouth & surrounding villages
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence & reliable vehicle

The Role: Be a Lifeline in Your Community

As a Community Care Worker, you’ll provide essential care during evenings and weekends, helping people remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Your responsibilities include:

Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, and toileting with dignity
Mealtime Support: Preparing meals, assisting with feeding, and ensuring hydration
Medication & Mobility: Supporting prescribed medication and safe movement
Companionship: Offering emotional support and light household help
Logging: Recording care notes easily via our Beehive Care app
What We’re Looking For

Availability: Evenings (4pm–10pm) and alternate weekends
Driving: Full UK driving licence and reliable car (essential)
Rural Comfort: Confidence driving on country lanes and reaching remote clients
Qualities: Caring, dependable, and resilient nature
Tech-Ready: Comfortable using a smartphone for rotas and care notes
Eligibility: Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
