We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the role of Temporary Team Leader within our Supported Living Services.

Sunderland Care and Support is one of the leading Social Care providers of high-quality care and support to the community of Sunderland. We are passionate about supporting adults with physical complex needs and support requirements to help them lead fulfilling lives.

As a Team Leader, you will work alongside the Service Manager in leading a team of professional support workers. Your primary focus will be to support your team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support in accordance with standards and legislation. You will oversee the development and implementation of care plans that offer meaningful choices and support to customers, helping them access services to lead fulfilling lives. Additionally, you will support your service manager in ensuring that all aspects of quality and health and safety are maintained within the allocated services.

The role of a Team Leader requires you to lead, manage, and supervise a team delivering care and support in accordance with standards and legislation. Additionally, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans that provide meaningful choices and support to those in need, helping them access services to lead fulfilling lives.

We are looking for a Team Leader who will instil a culture of continuous workforce development through induction, probation, supervision, and appraisal. You will mentor and coach your team, ensuring staff feel valued and supported. You will also act as a practice leader, working in partnership with other professionals to ensure customers receive tailored support to meet their needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required in this role, and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to meet performance indicator targets.
