Long gone are the days of tired corridors, wilted wallpaper and stuffy sitting rooms! The Sandstone vision is to provide its residents and staff with the opportunity to live and work in high-quality, modern and dynamic environments, in which our residents and their loved ones can relax, enjoy and call their own home.

This stunning 53-bed home opened just 2 years ago and offers its residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas and landscaped gardens, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology.

Here at Ribble Court, we provide high-quality specialist/complex nursing care and residential dementia care on separate floors, with a person-centred focus based on the needs and wishes of the residents maintained at all times.

As a Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:

undertaking any necessary training
supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities
providing emotional support and companionship
supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities
maintaining high standards within the care home environment
working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

What are we looking for?

A positive outlook and a warm personality
Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in working in the health and social care sector- experience is beneficial but certainly not essential!
Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
