Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Wolverhampton WV2

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
Our client is 58-year-old male living in the WV2 area of Wolverhampton who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 4 hours per week with all aspects general of daily living.

Main duties:
Domestic duties: Support with general housekeeping, maintaining a clean and tidy home environment. Supporting with letters and bills.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Type of person that you/they are looking for:
 Values: someone that is honest, reliable, non-judgemental, has the ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, be flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity.

 Specific requirements: Someone with previous support worker experience. Someone that is organised and can support client with life admin and keep on top of bills/letters.

Hours of work: 4 hours per week –
• 2 x 2-hour visits between 3pm-5pm flexible on what days.

Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
 Previous support worker experience
 Must be organised
 Confidentiality
 Good at building relationships
 Computer literate
 Good communicator

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
