Job Title Support Worker
About the service user
51 year old man living independently in Cambridge is looking for a Polish speaking support worker. A has mental health challenges which are stable but he does experience low mood and lack of motivation. A enjoys gaming, music and sport.
Hours and rate of Pay
2 hours per week @ £18.75 per hour.
Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
What you would be doing…
Supporting A to communicate with professionals who are involved with his care and support and his accommodation. Supporting him with correspondence, bills & booking appointments etc.,
Supporting A to access the community practising his English & with time going to the gym.
Establishing contact with professionals involved in A’s care and support.
The person I would like…
Experience of supporting others is not essential, someone who is a good communicator, open minded and non judgemental is important.
Someone who enjoys conversation and who has a good spoken English.
