Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (Complex Care)


Location:Walsall, WS9


Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour


Shifts: Weekdays 09:30-16:00| Alternate Weekends 09:30-14:30;


Contract Type: Full-time


Pets: 2 Cats in the house

About the Role

Support work is a highly rewarding role where you assist individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible. In this specific package, you will be supporting a lady with complex needs, focusing on emotional encouragement and social inclusion.


Key responsibilities include:




  • Providing meaningful companionship and emotional support.




  • Supporting with moving and handling and personal care.




  • Maintaining all clinical needs (with full training provided).




  • Supporting engagement with daily activities and promoting life skills.




  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the care team.




  • Ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment at all times.




  • Note: Candidates must be comfortable working alongside animals in the home environment.




Key Requirements


  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of professional care experience.




  • Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK with correct documentation.




  • DBS: A full enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).




  • History: An up-to-date CV with a full work history.




  • Soft Skills: A compassionate nature with strong companionship skills and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
