The Floating Support Team provides community‑based tenancy sustainment and holistic support to vulnerable adults.




INTERVIEWS WILL BE VIA MS TEAMS - MOST LIKELY ON 6TH OF MARCH.




The agency worker will be expected to manage an active caseload and contribute to the team's duty system to ensure consistent service delivery.




Key Role Requirements Caseload: 25-28 clients. Base: Dalston Junction office. Clients can be anywhere from Bexley, Croydon to Redbridge or Hounslow. They need to be fine with travelling.




Working pattern: Monday to Friday 9am to 17.00 Majority of time spent conducting face‑to‑face home visits in the community. When not visiting clients, the worker is expected to be office‑based. Participation in the duty rota approximately one full day every two weeks, based in the office all day.




Travel & Expenses The worker can claim travel costs for client visits, minus their normal daily commute to the Dalston office.

Claims must be submitted weekly, with evidence of journey history. Skills & Experience Needed We require someone with strong, hands‑on experience in floating support or similar community‑based roles, including: Supporting clients to set up and sustain their tenancies. Providing holistic support across a range of needs (mental health, debt, benefits, daily living, safeguarding). Monitoring client wellbeing, identifying risks, and escalating appropriately. Signposting and liaising with external agencies such as mental health services, debt advice, and other professionals. Managing a busy, varied caseload with good organisational skills and professional boundaries.
