Support Worker - Weymouth

Full Time | 37.5 hours per week Shift Pattern: Long days, 8:30am - 9:30pm Pay Rate: £14.67 per hour

Make a Meaningful Difference Every Day - Are you calm, reassuring, and motivated by helping others live fulfilling lives? We're looking for Support Workers in Weymouth to support a friendly gentleman in his 20s who lives in his own home.

He is autistic and thrives with Support Workers who can help him maintain his daily routine, build confidence, and gently expand his horizons over time. If you enjoy long day shifts and meaningful one-to-one support, this could be the perfect role.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support him with things he loves to do, including:

- Watching his favourite DVDs — especially Thomas the Tank Engine

- Reading stories

- Baking and cooking together

- Arts and crafts

- Visiting local parks

You'll also provide support with:

- Meal preparation

- Managing finances

- Prompting personal care

- Encouraging independence and daily living skills

He has regular contact with his parents and siblings, and you'll work closely with his family and the Dimensions team to ensure his support is meaningful, consistent, and person-centred.
