There is an expectation that as a Lead Nurse, you will be able to make complex decisions, lead a shift, cover duty and formulate detailed assessments and person-centred care plans to assist in the prevention of hospital admissions where appropriate. Experience of working with older adults with a functional, mental health illness is essential. The successful applicant will work within a supportive MDT and have close links with the Community Mental Health Teams, GPs and social care. Professional development and further learning is encouraged and you will receive robust clinical and managerial supervision, along with wider support and training in-house within the team. You will also be expected to provide supervision to team members and mentor students. The team works a shift pattern covering, Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm; this includes Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis. The team covers 365 days a year, the ability to work shifts is essential. As an employer and sponsor licence holder, to be able to provide sponsorship to overseas nationals via the Skilled Worker route we must ensure that we adhere to the sponsorship requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration. Please note without previous NHS Service you will commence at the bottom of the pay band which currently does not meet the minimum salary requirement for sponsorship for this post.
