Deputy Home Manager – £30,000–£35,000



In this Deputy Home Manager role, you’ll help lead a residential care home for older adults where maintaining high standards of care is a daily priority. Working alongside the Home Manager, you’ll support the team, oversee care delivery, and help keep the service operating at the level that has earned it a Good CQC rating.



Before You Apply



  • This role requires recent experience as a Deputy Home Manager within elderly residential care.

  • Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

  • This position is not suitable for candidates without supervisory experience in a care home setting.

What You’ll Need



  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

  • Deputy Home Manager in an elderly residential care home

  • Strong understanding of CQC standards and residential care compliance

  • Ability to lead shifts and support staff confidently



What You’ll Do



  • Support the Home Manager with daily oversight of the residential care home

  • Supervise staff, guide shift leaders, and ensure safe staffing and care delivery

  • Monitor care plans and documentation to maintain CQC compliance and quality standards

  • Respond to issues on shift and make operational decisions when the manager is absent

  • Work alongside carers and senior staff to maintain consistent care for older residents

  • Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance monitoring
