Support Worker

We are seeking caring and committed individuals to join a supportive care team delivering high quality support across Dorset.

Overview
Position: Support Worker
Salary: £12.27 per hour rising to £12.52 after probation and Care Certificate
Location: Stalbridge, Sherborne, Weymouth and Dorchester
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Ongoing

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality care and support, helping people to live independently and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing personal care and daily living support

- Supporting with meal preparation and medication

- Assisting individuals in the community

- Building positive, trusting relationships

- Working collaboratively within a care team

- Recording and reporting changes in needs

- Following safeguarding and confidentiality procedures

About You

- Compassionate, patient and committed

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Flexible to work a rota including some weekends

- Passionate about delivering person centred care

- Previous experience helpful but not essential as training is provided
