Operations Manager


Lead the operational delivery of multiple supported living services across Staffordshire, Walsall and Stoke-on-Trent, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You'll take end-to-end responsibility for quality, compliance and performance across 15 services, working through service managers and care coordinators. This role exists to provide cohesive leadership across a growing portfolio of services and to ensure high quality, person centred care.

Based across services in Staffordshire, Walsall and Stoke-on-Trent, working 37.5 hours per week.


The role


As Operations Manager, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across 15 supported living services delivering around 4,500 hours of care each week. The role exists to bring consistent oversight, drive quality and ensure regulatory compliance across all services. You'll also play a key part in service development, working with commissioners to support appropriate referrals and sustainable growth.


What you'll be doing



  • Providing operational leadership and oversight across 15 supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

  • Taking full responsibility for quality, compliance and governance, ensuring all services meet and exceed CQC standards.

  • Directly line managing service managers and care coordinators, with wider oversight of team leaders.

  • Monitoring and driving service performance, embedding continuous improvement across all services.

  • Working closely with Local Authority Commissioners and ICBs to support referrals, occupancy and service growth.

  • Ensuring consistent, person centred practice and safeguarding standards across the portfolio of services.


What we're looking for



  • Experienced senior manager within social care, with prior Registered Manager experience.

  • Strong track record overseeing multiple services or large scale care operations.

  • Proven experience of delivering quality, compliant services in line with CQC standards.

  • Demonstrable background in leading and developing service managers and wider care teams.

  • Experience working with Local Authority Commissioners and/or ICBs.

  • Clear focus on governance, performance, and continuous service improvement.
