We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to deliver high quality, person centred care to residents in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Position: Support Worker
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Location: Llandovery, Dyfed
Hours: Full time, 44 hours per week (day shifts)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Ongoing

This is a rewarding opportunity to support residents with their day to day needs, helping them live with dignity, comfort and independence. You will be part of an established care team, delivering high standards of support to individuals living with dementia and those requiring nursing care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing personal care in line with individual care plans

- Supporting residents with meals and hydration

- Assisting with moving and handling and transfers

- Maintaining accurate and up to date care records

- Offering emotional support, comfort and meaningful interaction

- Promoting dignity, privacy and independence at all times

You will be a kind, reliable and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting others.

You will have:

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

- A positive attitude and strong team working skills

- Flexibility to respond to changing needs within the home

Desirable:

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

- Experience working in a similar care environment

This role is based within a well established nursing home located near the historic town of Llandovery, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The home supports residents living with dementia and those requiring nursing care, with a strong focus on delivering high quality, person centred care in a safe and supportive setting.
