Vibe Care Agency are seeking experienced Support Workers to support adults with autism, learning disabilities & complex needs in Westoning, near Flitwick


*We are unable to offer to sponsorship for this role*


The service has three residential homes on site supporting around 20 service users. Due to the location being able to drive & having your own car would be an advantage.


Day & Waking night shifts are available.


Days - 07.30am-3pm / 09.00am - 7.00pm / 2.30pm-10pm


Nights - 10pm-07.30am


Rates - £13.00- £15.15 per hour


We are looking for individuals who want to make a real difference and make a positive impact on people's lives.


The role:



  • Support service users to lead fulfilling lives by promoting independence & empowerment.

  • Ability to offer a person-centered approaches as outlined in individual care plans.

  • Experience of supporting with full personal care, pad changes & hoisting ensuring dignity & respect at all times.

  • Support with accessing the community.

  • Complete household tasks as required e.g. cooking, cleaning, laundry etc.

  • Ensuring regular observations are completed as required during the night & personal care completed as required.


About you - We require:



  • An excellent understanding of learning disabilities & autism including the importance of routines & sensory processing.

  • Experience supporting people with epilepsy.

  • Effectively supporting service users who are non-verbal to make their needs known by following SALT guidelines.

  • Understanding behaviours that challenge and how to respond appropriately

  • Ability to record & document information accurately.

  • Clear understanding of safeguarding reporting & procedures.

  • Valid & Enhanced DBS on the update service.
