Service Optimisation Manager
Nationwide | Remote when not in service | Competitive salary + car allowance
This is a role where you can truly shape the future of care.
At Voyage Care, we support thousands of people across the UK with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, brain injuries and complex needs. We’re proud to be an award‑winning organisation (Health Investor Specialist Care Provider of the Year) with a national reputation for high‑quality, innovative services.
Now, as we expand our Service Optimisation Team, we’re looking for a Service Optimisation Manager to play a critical role in driving quality, growth and continuous improvement across our services.

The role
This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role for an experienced health or social care professional who thrives on pace, challenge and making a difference.
You will:

- Lead the integration of acquisitions and large tender wins, ensuring services are embedded successfully.
- Drive continuous improvement across complex, multi‑site services at a regional and national level.
- Partner closely with Operations teams to deliver quality, compliance and performance.
- Support due diligence and post‑integration activity as part of our growth strategy.
- Maintain Voyage Care’s position at the forefront of quality care provision.
- Represent Voyage Care locally and nationally when required.
- Stay ahead of regulatory and external changes, ensuring learning is cascaded effectively.
- Occasionally provide direct care support, ensuring first‑hand understanding of service delivery.

This role involves regular nationwide travel and overnight stays – a full UK driving licence is essential.

About you
You’ll be someone who is confident working at pace, comfortable with complexity, and motivated by improvement.
You’ll bring:

- Previous experience in health or social care (essential).
- A strong background in service improvement, quality or operations.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior leaders.
- Strong communication, analytical and commercial skills.
- A flexible, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Confidence working across the UK and with multiple stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for the people we support.

What we offer
In return, you’ll join a values‑driven organisation where your work has real impact, alongside a competitive and flexible benefits package:

- Remote working when not in service
- Company car or car allowance
- Competitive salary
- 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays
- Your birthday off
- Enhanced family leave
- Enhanced retirement leave
- Life assurance and pension
- Blue Light Card discounts
- DoctorLine – 24/7 GP access for you and your family
- Eye care vouchers
- Funeral Concierge
- Confidential wellbeing support (V‑Assure / Maximus)

Ready to make a difference?
If you’re passionate about quality, improvement and shaping services that change lives, we’d love to hear from you.
